Register NOW for the China Business Mission Trip in September!
The Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Ames Chamber of Commerce will be leading a business mission trip to China this September. Deadline to register is May 25, 2010.
The September trip will provide participants with opportunities to explore new business relationships in China by visiting with U.S. embassy officials, attending business trade shows, and conducting meetings with Chinese companies as well as meetings with Iowa companies who have offices and staff working in China. Leisure traveler welcomed, too.

Port Des Moines Launches New Website for Central Iowa Businesses
A new website named Port Des Moines was launched on March 24, 2010 to assist central Iowa businesses interested in domestic and international trade.
Central Iowa’s location along two major interstate highways, multiple railroads, the Des Moines International Airport, and a Foreign Trade Zone offers opportunities for organizations to expand their global reach.
